About Growth Link
Growth Link is a student-founded and student-led non-profit organization committed to making a big impact through small, meaningful steps.
We support individuals facing financial hardships—especially in the Philippines, Vietnam, and other Southeast Asian countries—by providing financial literacy education, community assistance, and empowerment programs.
Through collaboration, creativity, and compassion, our members strive to build a world where opportunity and dignity are within everyone’s reach.
Our Vision
A future where financial and educational barriers no longer limit potential.
We imagine communities where single mothers, out-of-school youth, and low-income families can pursue education, stability, and independence with confidence.
Our vision is guided by the belief that:
- Education is a right, not a privilege. Every child and young adult deserves access to learning opportunities, regardless of financial constraints.
- Empowerment starts with small actions. By addressing immediate needs, we create stepping stones toward long-term resilience and growth.
- Communities thrive when individuals thrive. Through targeted support and collaboration, we aim to uplift entire communities.
As students leading Growth Link, we believe that even small, well-directed resources can generate transformative outcomes in the lives of those in need.
Our Mission
Growth Link’s mission is to empower individuals facing financial challenges in Southeast Asia by providing financial literacy, direct assistance, and small-scale loans to help meet urgent needs and overcome barriers to education and stability.
Key Pillars of Our Mission:
- Educating and Empowering Financially Vulnerable Groups:
Financial literacy is fundamental to stability. We focus on educating single mothers, low-income families, and out-of-school youth about managing limited resources, budgeting effectively, and planning for a brighter future. - Providing Accessible Loans:
Recognizing the immediate financial challenges faced by those we serve, Growth Link offers small-scale loans ranging from $300 to $1,000 per year. These loans are designed to:- Help single mothers provide for their families.
- Support students in returning to school or pursuing vocational training.
- Address pressing needs like medical expenses or small entrepreneurial ventures.
As a student-led organization, our loan programs are currently limited in scale but impactful, ensuring those in need receive crucial support at the right time.
- Bridging Educational Gaps:
For students unable to continue their education due to financial constraints, we provide scholarships, school supplies, and mentorship, giving them a second chance to achieve their dreams. - Supporting Single Mothers and Families:
We provide direct assistance to single mothers, ensuring they can access resources to raise their children, stabilize their households, and regain confidence in their futures. - Hosting Fund-Raising Initiatives:
Through innovative events and community partnerships, we raise funds to fuel our programs and expand our reach. These events not only generate resources but also build awareness and foster collaboration. - Focusing on Southeast Asia:
Our efforts are rooted in the specific challenges of communities in the Philippines, Vietnam, and neighboring countries. By focusing on these regions, we ensure our resources are culturally relevant and strategically impactful.
Why We Follow the UN SDG 17 Goals
Growth Link aligns its work with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) because these 17 goals represent a global promise of progress, equality, and sustainability.
They remind us that every local action contributes to a larger human story.
Our initiatives reflect this commitment by promoting:
- Education and gender equality through mentorship and support for single mothers
- Economic growth and reduced inequalities via micro-loans and financial training
- Partnership for the goals, connecting students, mentors, and schools around the world
By following the UNSDG framework, we ensure that our student-led efforts are part of a united global movement—turning empathy into impact, and learning into leadership.
